A preview of the new BBC/PBS TV miniseries Wolf Hall, based on the Booker Prize winning novels by Hilary Mantel telling the story of Henry VIII’s marriage to Anne Boleyn from the perspective of his Lord Chancellor Thomas Cromwell. The series stars Homeland’s Damian Lewis as King Henry VIII, Claire Foy as Anne Boleyn, Jonathan Pryce as Cardinal Wolsey, Mark Gatiss as Stephen Gardner and Mark Rylance as Thomas Cromwell.
This preview covers the first two episodes of the six-part miniseries. It will be broadcast in the UK on January 21st on BBC Two and on PBS on April 5th.

Thanks for this review, Bina. I can’t wait for this. I loved the books and Cromwell is now one of my historical heroes. Eagerly awaiting the third installment. Nice to know it is finally coming to America in April.
