Finally, at 18m10s,  we review the mother-daughter relationship dramedy, Lady Bird, starring Saoirse Ronan, and directed by Greta Gerwig – both of whom have been Oscar nominated.

An 8 minute spoiler-free movie review of the glossy screen adaptation of Colm Toibin’s much loved novel of a young woman (Saoirse Ronan) who leaves 1950s Ireland for a new life in America. The dramatic tension is whether she will fully commit to her new life and love (Emory Cohen) or be pulled back to the life she knows and an Irish suitor (Domnhall Gleeson) despite small-town gossip.
