B007 Ep 90: Avengers: Age of Ultron

avengers-age-ultron

A 10 minute spoiler-free review of Joss Whedon’s Avengers: Age of Ultron – a movie of massive action set-pieces, but far more importantly, emotional heart and intellectual profundity.  The movie stars most everyone you’ve ever heard of but also the slippery, charming, evil James Spader as Ultron, Paul Bethany as the AI Jarvis.

the-wolverine-cover-creator

A ten minute movie review of The Wolverine –  Hugh Jackman‘s sixth outing as the legendary X-Man.  I found this to be one of the most balanced of the summer blockbusters – real emotional depth, an exceptional action sequence on top of a bullet-train, and strong female characters.   The first part of the podcast is a spoiler-free review with some spoilery comments after the end-credits.
