A ten minute movie review of a powerful and morally necessary documentary by Dirk Simon about the Tibetan struggle for freedom from China. The tragedy is that with its policy of non-violence and feudal structures, Tibet is almost uniquely unsuited for such a fight, and the despair of the Dalai Lama, the young freedom fighters, and the older members of the original resistance, drips from the screen.
